Save the date! Praying with icons, a women's Lenten retreat, will be held from 9 to noon on Saturday, February 24. After light refreshments, Iconographer, Jody Cole, will teach us how to “read” an icon. This entails learning a little about the symbolic language and spirituality of this ancient liturgical art. There will be show & tell, demonstrations & most importantly, periods of contemplative prayer.
