Mission Statement: The Respect Life Committee of Saint Joseph Parish is dedicated to prayer, education, discussion and action in promoting the truths of the Gospel of Life. Our mission is to help our parish grow in the awareness of the sanctity of all life, from conception to natural death, and to live out the Gospel in addressing issues that compromise human dignity. We are committed to observing and promoting the social doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church.
The Respect Life Committee meets monthly. To participate or for more information, contact: Deacon Steven Auchey, deaconsteven@stjosephmech.org or 717-766-9433.
Our committee led this novena in January 2021, but you can pray it any time!

Did you know? 80% of women who are considering an abortion choose LIFE after having an ultrasound! This is why, at Morning Star, we call ultrasounds a “window into the womb”. A mother and father are able to see their child - sometimes as early as just 6 weeks into the pregnancy. Life can no longer be denied.
In 2017 Morning Star performed 607 ultrasounds and in 2019 performed 1,447 ultrasounds - a 138% increase! And now, our new Harrisburg clinic, which opened November 2020, features an additional ultrasound room enabling Morning Star to provide up to an additional 1,000 ultrasounds each year.
You can support Morning Star’s powerful, life-giving service of providing free ultrasounds to abortion-vulnerable mothers and fathers in our community by donating to Morning Star at www.SupportMorningStar.com.
