The Holy Spirit is probably the most mysterious member of the Trinity, and yet the Spirit lives within each one of us.
If we have any faith, it is because of the Spirit.
If we feel any peace, it is a gift of the Spirit.
If we do any good works, it is at the prompting of the Spirit.We celebrate this as a Church each Pentecost by remembering when the Holy Spirit descended upon the first disciples. But the Spirit's incredible power to support, comfort and motivate us is available to us all the time. We just need to be open to it
This year at Saint Joseph parish, we are planning a special time of preparation for Pentecost, designed to help each one of us open ourselves to the fullness of life and love that the Spirit is ready and waiting to share!

GRATITUDE LINKS IN OUR PRAYER CHAIN
Allow GRATITUDE to open your heart!
Did you have a prayer answered this Lent? Or maybe you received an unexpected blessing? We'll be supplementing the incredible prayer chain in the church with prayers of gratitude between now and Ascension Thursday, May 25.
To add your prayers of gratitude, either CLICK HERE or use the strips of paper available in baskets in the church narthex.
Your online submission will be written on a strip of paper by a parish staff member and added to the chain. When the prayer chain is taken down, all prayers will be copied and placed in the Altar of Repose.
We thank the Saint Joseph Columbiettes who are supporting this special ministry by supplying the strips of paper , the time to assemble the chain and their prayers. For additional information , contact Suzanne at evangelization@stjosephmech.org.

GET TO KNOW THE "WILD GOOSE"!
“Wild Goose” was a term that the ancient Celts had for the Holy Spirit. The Wild Goose video-based program invites viewers to an encounter, or a renewed encounter, with the Holy Spirit.
Beginning May 9: Mondays, 7:00 PM Via Zoom, May 11: Wednesdays, 10:00 AM in Brindle Hall, and May 15: Sundays, 6:00 PM in Lee Horan Room

Come accept the Lord's pardon & peace. If you haven’t been to Reconciliation in a long time, or if you’ve “forgotten how”, don’t worry! The priest will welcome you and guide you through the sacrament.
