Over the past couple of months, 4th and 5th grade students at Saint Joseph School worked with our CAIU counselor, Mrs. DeSantis, to learn about self-management skills such as organization, time management, planning, and prioritizing. As a culminating activity, students worked in small groups using a variety of resources and tools they became familiar with during lessons to plan a pretend ‘Day Out With Maple’, the CAIU facility dog. Maple was with students in their classrooms the week of December 9th to hear their plans, support them during their presentation, and learn all about the tools they used to help them along the way!
Merry Christmas to all from Saint Joseph School! Thank you very much for all of the kindness, prayers, and support you give to our students and staff. May God bless you richly in the coming year!
Trio of Trees - Students and staff collected items for three charities for our "Trio of Trees" Advent/ Christmas Service Project: Speranza Animal Rescue, New Hope Ministries, and The Ronald McDonald House of Central PA. Three special Christmas trees and the donations adorned the school lobby during Advent.
