We invite you to watch our preparation videos for our virtual Lenten Series “In the Classroom of Silence” when they are posted online this week. This series is based on the Dynamic Catholic book we distributed at Christmas, Matthew Kelly’s I Heard God Laugh. The five short videos, each led by a member of our parish staff, give you an idea of what each section of this book contains. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION
The ashes we receive on Ash Wednesday (February 17, 2021) are a sign of our resolve to enter more deeply into prayer, fasting, almsgiving, acts of charity, etc., as we travel the 40 days of Lent. We pray that the Lenten journey helps us grow in our relationship with God as we prepare for Holy Week and the wonderful Easter Season. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
The parish is doing something different for our Lenten series this year. Over Christmas we gave out copies of Matthew Kelly's book "I Heard God Laugh," where he discusses developing the habit of prayer. Our series will be based on the 7 steps of Matthew Kelly's "Prayer Process," and members of the parish staff will be offering short video presentations on "I Heard God Laugh" from Feb. 22-26 as an introduction to the series. Starting March 1st, we will livestream a daily prayer session for 21 days in a row. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
