YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE A PLACE IN OUR HEARTS AND PRAYERS!
Our seminarian Andrew has come to the end of his Pastoral Year Assignment with us. He will be leaving after Masses this weekend for some time with his family, then to his summer assignment at another parish in our Diocese, and then to Saint Mary’s Seminary in Baltimore, MD to continue his formation process toward the Priesthood.
Here is a message from Andrew:
Dear Saint Joseph Parish,
Thank you for your friendship and love during my time here at Saint Joseph Church. I’ve had many great experiences with you all and learned how wonderful Saint Joseph Parish is.
I’ve been blessed by the parish staff and all you parishioners who make up our Church community here, and you are truly a welcoming community that gives off Jesus’ presence. I loved my experience of ministries this year like Alpha, RCIA, Choir, and the REP program – I wish I could’ve experienced more. I felt encouraged and inspired by the common vision and teamwork of our leaders here at Saint Joseph and I want to carry the Saint Joseph excellence with me to whatever parish I’ll be at in the future.
I’ve only seen a glimpse of the activities at Saint Joseph, but I can tell how strong and charitable you all are. I thank you parishioners for showing me a community desiring God and striving to do His will, and I hope I can continue to learn from you all. You’ve been a great blessing to me.
I give special thanks to our Saint Joseph School for letting me help teach a few classes to the students and get to know the school kids a little. I feel inspired by the time I got to be with them, and they’re all great. I pray for their best and to grow strong in Christ our Lord.
Lastly, I thank everyone, including Fr. Rozman and Fr. Sahd who showed me more how to be a spiritual leader and to give of myself to God’s people. Their dedication and love for you all has rubbed off on me and I am very grateful.
Know that I’ll be keeping you all in prayers, and will always be thankful for this time as part of Saint Joseph Parish family.
God bless you all,
Seminarian Andrew Kappenhagen
Andrew’s Seminary Address is:

In addition, as announced a few weekends ago, Deacon Paruso has retired from his duties here. We wish him all the best. If you would like to send Deacon a card, please address it to him here at the parish and we will forward it to him. Again, our prayers are with Deacon and Marlane as they continue to enjoy this new phase of life.
