DIOCESAN MEN'S CONFERENCE:
REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
The Diocesan Virtual Men’s Conference is Saturday, March 20, 2021, with registration now open!
The link, with online registration, conference schedule, and speaker descriptions is: https://www.hbgdiocese.org/men
The Men’s Conference is a great time and it has helped a lot of men through the years in a multitude of ways. Thank you for your past attendance!
· Our Men’s Conference this year is a Virtual (livestreamed) Men’s Conference.
· Everyone who registers will receive a link for the livestream on March 18—two days before the conference.
· Then, after the conference, you will receive another link to the conference in its entirety, so that if you are not able to catch it live, you will be able to watch it at your leisure.
· The cost this year is only $10 per man, far reduced from the usual $40.
· We do gladly accept donations, and there is a place on the registration form for that.
· If you are registering, please put yourself down as “Guest 1”, whether you are just registering yourself, or others, too. One thing to note is that if people are watching together as a group, it is important that each person who is watching has individually paid and registered.
WE HAVE A TERRIFIC LINEUP OF SPEAKERS! Really, it is like we have a bunch of keynote speakers. Some you know from our Diocese, others your know from seeing them on cable news or on EWTN (at least four of them). There are six talks, each 30 minutes long, plus Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with Benediction, led by Bishop Gainer. There will also be excellent music. The Men’s Conference theme is: Catholic Men: Defenders of the Faith.
The presentation speakers, titles, and times are in the Conference Schedule in the attached link. Our speakers and topics are:
· Dr. William Donohue (The Catholic Advantage)
· Bishop Ronald Gainer (The Genuineness of Your Faith: Reflections on I Peter)
· Fr. Frederick Miller (Men of Mary)
· Fr. John Szada (Fighting Spiritual Warfare: “For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against…the spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places.” – Eph. 6:10)
· Mr. Anthony Devlin (Average Joe: How an Ordinary Man Got the Most Extraordinary Job in History)
· Fr. Robert Spitzer, SJ (What’s so special about the Catholic Church: Four Graces to Defend the Faith)
