The Saint Thomas More Society of Central Pennsylvania is an organization of Catholic lawyers, judges, public office holders, paralegals, legal assistants, and law students. The Society respectfully invites you to attend the Feast Day Mass of Saint Thomas More, Martyr (and St. John Fisher, Bishop). The Mass will be celebrated by the Most Reverend Ronald Gainer, Bishop of the Diocese of Harrisburg, on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 8:30 A.M. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 3435 Trindle Road, Camp Hill 17011.
The purpose of this Mass is to gather to pray for God’s guidance and to invoke blessings, through the intercession of Thomas More and John Fisher, upon those who work in the administration of justice or government. Religious Freedom Week 2021 (Strength in Hope) starts this day and goes to June 29, 2021. It is a time when our liturgical calendar celebrates a series of great martyrs who remained faithful in the face of persecution by political power - St. Thomas More and St. John Fisher, St. John the Baptist and SS. Peter and Paul.
The Priests who wish to concelebrate the Mass are asked to bring their alb and diocesan stole and vestment. Deacons are asked to do the same. All are welcome!
